Journey to Little Sis

School Days

We've been back in school mode for 4 whole days now and we have 176 school days until we are once again relaxed and schedule free.  You might be asking yourself, "How does she know there are 176 school days left?"   Well, I know this little fun fact because my newly indoctrinated Kindergardener asks me every day "How long until summer again?"

I was sure Little E was asking because, like his mama, he misses lazy days by the pool, no set schedule, sleeping in until 9 a.m., and staying up until 10 p.m. every night (So 10 p.m. really isn't that late for most people, but it is for us!!).  Nope that's not it.  He's asking because he wants to know how many more times he gets to go to school.  He loves it!

Oh, his big Sis is thinking school is pretty cool too.  She is in Middle School and getting to switch classes is pretty big stuff!

Ike likes his class as well.  He thinks his teacher is funny and nice.  That's all I've got from him...funny and nice.  He also claims he's the ONLY one in his class that hasn't gotten a mark on his conduct card...hmmmmm   What a funny kid, a "pleaser" for sure!

Officially #48!

We moved 6 spots up the list this month!  It feels great to be in the forties.  Now that we have entered into the raining season court closures we are praying for continued movement in our numbers.

Is hoping to be in the 30's next month too much to ask??  :)

On another note we have received our Favorable Determination Letter from US Citizenship and Immigration Services.  That means we have been deemed "able to furnish proper care to an orphan".   Now we are good to go once a referral is sent our way!

Blessings!
